FPN News Special Report: From Cradle to Grave: The Story of Muti Ajamu-Osagboro

PHILADELPHIA, PA - HEADLINE NEWS THE MAKING AN EXONEREE PROJECT

Muti Ajamu-Osagboro, aka, Muti General High Priest, has spent the past 42 years in prison despite two of his co-defendants recanting their testimony in 2003. These men claim that the Philadelphia Homicide Unit threatened and coerced them into lying to convict Muti while they were juveniles. Anna Salvatore, Mikayla Merin, and Clara McWeeney from Princeton University, along with Tashay Campbell from Georgetown Law, reinvestigated the case through the Making An Exoneree program and helped Muti build a parole application, which was ultimately granted. Learn more about his case ahead of Muti's pending release. It's now the year 2025. General Muti has been out on parole for almost 2 years.

Robert "Sugar Bear" Lark was on death row for 38 years and remains in jail in the state of Pennsylvania. The events of an accused murder, trial, and conviction that put a man behind bars is not the story that is in the 'Thin Blue Lie' movie - a 2000 television film directed by Roger Young and starring Philadelphia Inquirer reporter Jonathan Neumann (Rob Morrow), who, along with his partner Phil Chadway (Randy Quaid), for exposing Philadelphia mayor Frank Rizzo (Paul Sorvino) and the Philadelphia Police Department for corruption (observing the years 1976-1978) is in the movie. It was released on August 13, 2000 on Showtime.
According to the articles, suspects were beaten and tortured in interrogation rooms, as well as in many cases murdered, in an effort to meet the high quota of criminal cases solved by Philadelphia detectives. Neumann and Chadway met extreme opposition from the police department, working amidst phone tappings, apartment ransackings, and threats of death and bodily harm.
However, the above-mentioned reference about the methods used by mayor Rizzo and the Philadelphia Police Department for corruption success is in the story (allegedly) that has been told in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, Appellee, v. Robert LARK, Appellant case, 1985.

Click on the image to watch or share-watch the movie.
Throughout the movie, Neumann faced a number of ethical dilemmas. First, most of his colleagues did not think that he should pursue claims of torture and death from suspects and a few police even; the city's crime level was at an all-time low, and some people felt that to question Rizzo's police policies would put the city's safety in jeopardy. Second, when interviewing victims of police brutality, Neumann had to assure the frightened victims that they would not be harmed by talking to him, when in fact, they had been threatened by police and warned against talking to and/or cooperating with reporters - may result in repeated jail lockup or even their death. Third, Neumann had to find one or more detectives willing to essentially betray a fellow officers in order to substantiate his claims.
In the case of Robert Lark, aka Sugar Bear, from West Philly and North Philly Street-life upbringing, people felt that to question police polices, City of Philadelphia, district attorney policies, City of Philadelphia and court of common pleas judges polices, City of Philadelphia practices would put the city's safety in jeopardy.
And the cops, the DA and the judges have no remorse over (allegedly) framing an innocent man and almost getting him executed - ongoing, once again.

Philadelphia Front Page News Justice Brief: Gypsy Rose Blanchard out of prison years after persuading boyfriend to kill her abusive mother Forward news by KYW Newsradio frontpagenews1@yahoo.com

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, the Missouri woman who persuaded an online boyfriend to kill her mother after she had forced her to pretend for years that she was suffering from leukemia, muscular dystrophy and other serious illnesses, was released Thursday from prison on parole.

Blanchard was released early in the day from the Chillicothe Correctional Center, said Karen Pojmann, a spokesperson for the Missouri Department of Corrections. Blanchard was granted parole after serving 85% of her original sentence, Pojmann said.

Blanchard’s case sparked national tabloid interest after reports emerged that her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, who was slain in 2015, had essentially kept her daughter prisoner, forcing her to use a wheelchair and feeding tube.

Philadelphia Front Page News The Latest From Muti Ajamu-Osagboro: WE WON THE NO ARENA BATTLE! FIRST DAY BACK TO ADDRESS PHILLY CITY COUNCIL: SOULJAHS VS SELLOUTS!!! by Muti Ajamu-Osagboro (215) 803-1215

Today: January 23rd, 2025, Thursday, was a Day Of RECOGNITION & Reckoning!

WE RECOGNIZE That It Was A Day Were The Comrades Stepped Up For The Beloved, But, Besieged, Great State Of North Philadelphia, And All Of Philly, While The COWARDS, supported some Bloodsucking Billionaires Efforts To Further Gentrify (And Make Disappear) North Philly, By Pushing All Black N Brown ( N poor whites) Out Of These Coveted Sections Of The City.

It was a Day Of RECKONING for Both the Blood Suckers N Pols (Politicians: the mayor and the “city council cowards” who followed her MISLEADERSHIP and voted to annex Chinatown n build a soul sucking Sports Arena right next to an INSTITUTION, that is a staple of Philly Diversity).

They (The Cowards) Lost! And, WE (The Comrades) THE “TAKE IT TO STREETS” PEOPLE…. WON!!!

To watch the full video click on the image.

OUR VICTORY WAS SURELY THEIR VANQUISHMENT!! The local white supremacy media (WSM) celebrated how mayor cherelle parker ‘green lit the project’. When in truth, mayor parker actually “GASLIT THE GOOD PEOPLE OF PHILADELPHIA, by stoking the flames of anti-Asian discontentment. Blowing, several times, a loud anti-Asian white supremacist dog whistle. Spewing some of the most vile white supremacist tropes about OUR Asian Sistah’s n Brothers. This is the M.O. of a latter-day BLACKFACE WHITE SUPREMACIST who is still trying to please ALL of the WHITE BOYS @ The PROPERTY PREDATORS BALL… And at the same give lip service to Black folks that she down for OUR disenfranchised N oppressed cause.

But Afrikan & Asian Alliance Against Gentrification: No Arena!, Did NOT and Will NOT STAND for any type of minstrel showing in 2025, bec WE did NOT STAND FOR IT LAST YEAR.

THE FIVE SHEROES N HEROES THAT STOOD UP FOR US MUST BE LAUDED N SUPPORTED IN EVERY WAY THAT IS HUEMANLY POSSIBLE.

The FABULOUS FIVE COUNCIL Members: Councilwomen: Jamie Gauthier; Rue Landau, and Kendra Brooks; Bookend by Councilmen: Nicolas O’ Route; and Jeffery Young, Jr.

This FAB FIVE formed a perfect pentagon pointed STAR to FIGHT FOR, AND DEFEND THE RIGHTS OF, HOME OWNERS AND THE HOMELESS. Big HUEman Rights Lovers and Small Landlords; Sustainable Job Seekers and Job Creators; Home Grown Civic Cultivators and NOT Outside Civic Colonizers.

Undeniably, the brightest star in this neo political constellation was Councilmember O’ Rourke, of the independent, Family Workers Party. (FWP). O’ Rourke’s Leadership In This Battle For The People’s Property, is Analogous To The North (Philly) Star That Gives Guidance To The Dejected, Rejected, Beat Down, Lost And ModernDay Runaway Enslaved Afrikans Seeking Economic, Cultural And Political Uhuru (FREEDOM).

Chinatown, and most of North Philly, represent the section in the city—between two rivers— where the waves of the FAB FIVE’S stardom, can ripple for decades after touching tens of thousands, millions, of souls that have been bombarded by disenfranchisement from amerika’s beginning; However, it was and is, Councilmember O’ Rourke’s stellar leadership by giving a fact laden, and evidence saturated blitz, on the Council floor, session after session, after session that literally operated as beacon that politically carried us through the Darkest Economic Night, perhaps in Philly History. And will continue to do so in these up coming financially, spiritually, socially and culturally turbulent times, where the battles with the new white house administration are certain.

In closing, for the SellOuts, from the mayors office on down: male and female. The Grassroots People POWER made those Bloodsucking Billionaires Back Off The ARENA Deal, even though the majority of City Council N the mayor gave them a blank check to RAPE NORTH PHILLY AND DISPLACE, DECIMATE AND DECONSTRUCT Chinatown.

You gatekeepers, got GATE KEPT! Y’all slept, WE DIDN’T!!! Though the White Boy Billionaires thoroughly understood that if they moved forward with the building of the arena in North Philly, by annexing Chinatown, that WE WOULD NOT HAVE ALLOWED THEM TO EVER BE COMFORTABLE WITH THEIR STOLEN BOOTY. But, in an act of poetic justice, the The Bloodsuckers wanted to save face and at the same time spin the narrative to pretend People Power Had Nothing To Do With Them STANDINGDOWN. Thus, The “Neo good ole boys” wanted to send a clear message to the mostly BLACK N Brown Politicians that gave them the blank check, BY VOTING TO ALLOW THEM To BUILD THE ARENA. ‘OOOH! WE Changed OUR Minds, Bec WE Don’t Need U Knee-gros To Build OUR Arena. (You Politicians ARE POLITICALLY IMPOTENT IN OUR WORLD OF HIGH FINANCE).

Lastly, PROSTITUTION IS LEGAL IN SOME STATES IN amerika, illegal in others. WHEREAS POLITICAL WHORING IS NOT ILLEGAL ANYWHERE, BUT IT IS IMMORAL, AND UNETHICAL. SO, ALL OF THE POLITICAL WHORES WHO GOT ON THEIR KNEES 4 THE BILLIONAIRE WHITE BOYS. WHEN YALL GOT UP OFF YALL KNEES WITH DNA ON YALL FACES, DON’T BE MAD AT THE TRICKS, NOR PROSTITUTION. BE ANGERY WITH YRSELF FOR CHOOSING TO BE A POLITICAL WHORE. CANT BE CLEAN, IN A DIRTY GAME. UHURU!

Philadelphia Front Page News Justice Brief: Executive Orders Signed By U.S. President Donald Trump News - Among Flurry of First-Day Executive Orders, President Trump Issues Order on the Death Penalty Forward news by Death Penalty Information Center frontpagenews1@yahoo.com

Philadelphia Front Page News Justice Brief: Executive Orders Signed By U.S. President Donald Trump News - Among Flurry of First-Day Executive Orders, President Trump Issues Order on the Death Penalty Forward news by Death Penalty Information Center frontpagenews1@yahoo.com

Above: President Donald Trump.

On January 20, 2025, President Donald Trump signed more than two dozen Executive Orders, including a call to restore” the federal death penalty. The Order, while lacking many important details, instructs the Department of Justice’s Attorney General to pursue the death penalty for all crimes of a severity demanding its use,” including the killing of a law enforcement officer or a capital crime committed by an illegal alien present in this country” and to encourage state attorneys general to bring state-capital charges for these crimes. President Trump also calls on the Attorney General to take all necessary and lawful action” to ensure that states with capital punishment have sufficient access to the drugs needed for lethal injection executions. The Order also directs the Attorney General to seek to overrule any established Supreme Court precedent that limit the authority of state and federal governments to impose capital punishment.”

Many of the statements in the executive order simply echo previous campaign rhetoric without providing important specifics or addressing the fact that well-settled legal precedent or laws would need to be changed by the United States Supreme Court or Congress to make the proposals a reality.

With respect to the recent commutations of federal death sentenced prisoners, the Executive Order calls on the Attorney General to evaluate the placement of each of the 37 men whose federal death sentences were commuted by former President Joe Biden in December 2024. The Attorney General should take lawful action to ensure that each of these individuals are imprisoned in conditions consistent with the monstrosity of their crimes and the threats they pose.” The Attorney General, per the Order, should also evaluate whether these individuals can be charged with state-level capital crimes and shall recommend appropriate action to state and local authorities.” Local elected prosecutors have the ultimate discretion in charging a capital case at the state level and may or may not seek the death penalty for a variety of reasons, including voter preference, case factors, and budget. Given these factors, it’s unlikely state prosecutors would choose to prosecute crimes that occurred twenty or thirty years ago, especially when the defendants have already been convicted and sentenced to life without parole in federal prison.

Philadelphia Front Page News Justice Brief: Pennsylvania Justice System - Under Shapiro, half of clemency recommendations remain unsigned Forward news by Spotlight PA frontpagenews1@yahoo.com

Above: Governor, Josh Shapiro, Pennsylvania.

HARRISBURG — In his first two years as governor, Josh Shapiro has signed about 50 percent of the clemency applications recommended to him by the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons.

During Gov. Tom Wolf’s second term, a reenergized Pennsylvania Board of Pardons received and recommended more applications for approval than it did under any prior governor since 1997.

Wolf granted more than 1,600 applications during this period, double the number he signed during his first term and nearly all of the applications recommended to him by the board.

While under Shapiro’s administration, the board has taken steps to improve the process for people seeking second chances. But he has thus far been slower to sign the applications reaching his desk.
